09-2024 - 03.2025

🎯 Objective

Led and coordinated 25+ business-critical SharePoint applications from on-premise infrastructure to SharePoint Online (M365) to reduce costs, improve performance, and enable modern collaboration features.

🧩 My Role

As a Global Application Manager & Senior Product Owner, I played a key role in the migration of the +25 business applications , orchestrating collaboration between teams in India, the USA, and Singapore aligned with strategic goals. I successfully led cloud migration efforts and integrated IT service management tools to streamline operations and reduce costs.

🔍 Challenges

  • High annual cost due to extra external licenses for legacy workflows (approx. €20,000–€30,000 per year).
  • Hire additional resources to ensure a faster and seamless migration.
  • Due to costs, finding the resources in India.

🚀 Actions Taken

  • Conducted full inventory and impact analysis of existing SharePoint applications and the external workflows, that had to be replaced.
  • Facilitated stakeholder alignment and workshops across departments.
  • Rebuilt workflows using Power Automate and Power Apps, eliminating the need for the external licenses.
  • In collaboration with the development team, I designed and implemented the pipeline for migrating the SharePoint On-Premise ecosystem to the cloud, including the setup of new tenants.
  • Defined and implemented governance standards for SharePoint Online (security, naming, permissions).
